Curtis graduated with a BS in accounting from Missouri State University. He went on to become a CPA and worked in public accounting for a total of 20 years from 1982-2001. 

After entering the banking profession as a trust officer, he continued his education to become a Certified Trust Financial Advisor in July 2005. He has created a niche in providing guidance in estate planning with tax strategies for over 20 years while working as a trusted advisor to hundreds of clients.
