Winter Workshop Series: Dr. Tom Dykstra - Double Feature

  • Pleasantview Activity Center 5013 South Dean Road Hutchinson, KS, 67501 United States (map)

Tom Dykstra specializes in the study of insects, and has a Bachelor’s from Cornell University, a Master’s & Ph.D. from the University of Florida all in Entomology to prove it. Even more, he is the director of Dykstra Laboratories Inc. which for nearly 30 years has allowed him to continue his research both in the lab and in the field.

With these experiences comes vast knowledge of insect physiology, morphology, insect-plant interactions, and behavior. Tom relates insect feeding habits to plant physiology, revealing the conditions that attract pests to your fields. If you are looking to make your fields more resilient and resistant to insect pest pressure, this is a workshop for you.

We are so excited for the opportunity to bring Dr. Tom Dykstra for the Winter Workshop that we have set up a double feature of presentations on February 26th starting at 10:00am, with a break for lunch around 12:00pm, followed by an afternoon presentation. We would invite you to come for one or both of these talks.

Please RSVP by Monday, Feb. 24th by calling the office @ 620-888-2054 or email clwreservations@gmail.com
